Потери компаний от DDoS-атак в России утроились в 2025 году, заявили в «Сбере»

Despite a decrease in the number of attacks, their harmfulness has increased dramatically

According to Sber's assessment, Russian companies' losses from DDoS attacks in 2025 have increased at least threefold. This was announced by Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the bank's Board, in an interview on the sidelines of SPIEF-2025.

Although the total number of attacks has slightly decreased compared to last year, their complexity and effectiveness have noticeably increased. The number of malicious attacks has tripled, which has directly affected the losses of businesses and the activities of companies.

In 2025, dozens of attacks were recorded on federal authorities and major Russian companies. Some of them were forced to temporarily suspend the provision of services or the performance of functions due to the consequences of the attacks.

According to Kuznetsov, the main reason for the vulnerability is an insufficient level of cyber protection.
