New import-substituted engine for BelAZ dump trucks presented by TMH-ER

Russian company has developed a replacement for foreign analogues for heavy equipment

TMH - Energy Solutions (part of Transmashholding) has developed a new diesel engine for BelAZ mining dump trucks, which will replace foreign analogues. This was announced by the company's CEO Andrey Vasiliev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

According to Vasiliev, the engine has already been installed on several test vehicles, and data is currently being collected for its further improvement.

We have made the first few machines, now we are undergoing test operation, monitoring this engine, collecting analytics, and eliminating comments. And we, of course, have huge plans for the development of this vector of our supplies.

In addition, TMH-ER is expanding its scope of activities: after joining the shareholders of Rosatom, the company began developing autonomous power plants, including diesel generators and solutions based on gas fuel. These technologies are designed for remote areas where the use of grid electricity is economically unprofitable.

In the current year 2025, we have huge plans for the development of not only our products that we make for locomotives, electric trains and other equipment manufactured by Transmashholding, but also for various other equipment.
