Новый импортозамещённый двигатель для самосвалов «Белаз» представила ТМХ-ЭР

Russian company has developed a replacement for foreign counterparts for heavy equipment

TMH - Energy Solutions (part of Transmashholding) has developed a new diesel engine for BelAZ mining dump trucks to replace foreign counterparts. This was announced by the company's CEO, Andrey Vasilyev, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

According to Vasilyev, the engine has already been installed on several test vehicles, and analytics are currently being collected for its further improvement.

We have made the first few machines, and we are now undergoing test operation, monitoring this engine, collecting analytics, and eliminating comments. And we certainly have huge plans for the development of this vector of our supplies.
Andrey Vasilyev, CEO of TMH-ER

In addition, TMH-ER is expanding its scope of activities: after joining the shareholders of Rosatom, the company began developing autonomous power plants, including diesel generators and solutions based on gas fuel. These technologies are designed for remote areas where the use of grid electricity is economically unprofitable.

In the current year 2025, we have huge plans for the development of not only our products that we make for locomotives, electric trains and other equipment manufactured by Transmashholding, but also for various other equipment.
