The painting shop of the former PSMA Rus plant in Kaluga (owned by "Automobile Technologies") is being modernized. This is reported by insiders. The company wants to improve the quality of production.
After the departure of Western automakers, the company reoriented itself to large-node assembly of cars from Chinese car kits (Citroen C5 Aircross and Haval M6). "Automobile Technologies" plans to establish a full cycle of M6 production. Presumably, the modernization of the painting shop is connected with this.
In addition, the plant intends to assemble cars under the Tenet brand from the summer of 2025 using a full cycle. This was announced by the Governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapsha, on the sidelines of the SPIEF.
I assert that the Tenet car, which we presented in February of this year, will be produced this summer and will continue to be produced in the format of a full-cycle assembly.
Tenet cars are created in partnership with the Chinese company Defetoo, which acts as a technology partner and is registered in Anhui Province, one of the centers of automobile production in China.
