"Aeroflot" no longer plans to operate domestic Superjet aircraft and Tu-214 airliners, according to the airline's CEO, Sergei Alexandrovsky.
According to him, the carrier is focusing on aircraft that best suit the route network, are optimal in terms of operational characteristics and size.
The main Russian aircraft for Aeroflot will be the MC-21. According to the airline, Aeroflot and Russia will receive approximately 200 aircraft of this series by 2033.
Using one type of aircraft – the MC-21 – will increase efficiency in resource planning, pilot and flight attendant training.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Import-substituted spare parts for the SJ-100 will become cheaper, although they used to cost twice as much as for Airbus.
