Томский завод освоил новые горизонты: завершена разработка образцов приводов для атомной промышленности

New electric drives from JSC "TOMZEL" combine proven technical solutions with modernized components

The Tomsk Electric Drive Plant (JSC "TOMZEL"), part of the structure of JSC "Transneft - Western Siberia", has completed the development of prototypes of electric drives for the nuclear industry.

In 2023, the plant signed a roadmap for cooperation with nuclear industry enterprises, and in early 2024, it received a license to develop specialized electric drives. The new devices combine proven technical solutions with modernized components, which increases their reliability in standard and extreme operating conditions.

Preliminary tests are scheduled for June 2025 at the sites of one of the nuclear enterprises. After that, the samples will undergo additional tests in accredited laboratories together with pipeline valves. Product certification is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
