The Kalashnikov Concern (part of Rostec) has completed the shipment of another batch of improved 5.45 mm AK-12 assault rifles of the 2023 model under state contracts for 2025 to the customer.
The AK-12 is the main individual automatic weapon of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and therefore the production volumes remain at a high level every year.
Also, at the request of the assault units of the Airborne Forces, the Izhevsk plant quickly mastered the production of the shortened 5.45 mm AK-12K assault rifle in "Multicam" coloring.
Planned work is underway to prepare production for the development of serial production of the small-sized 5.45 mm AK-12SK assault rifle.
