The Miass Medical Equipment Plant (MZMO) from the Chelyabinsk region is starting to equip clean rooms at a new electric car plant in New Moscow. This was reported in the company's press service.
The construction of a cluster of enterprises involved in the production of electric vehicles and auto components has started in the Krasnaya Pakhra settlement in New Moscow. MZMO will build clean room complexes for the new enterprise.
The production area will occupy about 10 thousand square meters. It will house areas for assembling battery cells, vacuum drying and production of solid-state batteries, as well as quality control areas. The equipment of these spaces will avoid contamination, which can negatively affect product quality and reduce productivity.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with Rosatom and the Moscow government, which plan to create a full-cycle battery production. A gigafactory with a production capacity of 4 GWh/year will be built on the allocated area of 20.4 hectares, which will allow producing up to 50 thousand batteries per year.
Earlier www1.ru reported that lithium-ion batteries for UAVs were launched in Moscow.
