The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding has concluded contracts for the manufacture of autonomous diesel generators. They will be sent to an enterprise that specializes in the creation of telecommunications equipment and software and hardware technical equipment, the holding's press service reported.
In 2025-2026, KMZ will supply several batches of diesel generators with a capacity of 8 kW and 15 kW, with voltages of 220 V and 380 V. The equipment will be equipped with liquid or air cooling systems.
Some of them will receive a heating system for operation at temperatures from -40℃ to +50℃ and a remote control panel. All diesel generators will be made from Russian parts with a set of spare parts for repair and maintenance.
The holding's website indicates that all autonomous power sources are manufactured under the quality control of specialists from the Technical Control Department (OTK) and the Military Representative Office of the Ministry of Defense of Russia (VP MO RF) assigned to the enterprise.
