The Russian medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) "Oreshnik" is capable of overcoming the most modern missile defense system (ABM) "Golden Dome" being created in the USA. This was stated by military expert Yuri Knutov.
According to him, Russia has a huge advantage in the military sphere compared to other countries.
This is "Oreshnik". And most importantly, this is the "Sarmat" missile, equipped with the "Avangard" hypersonic warhead, which has a speed of more than 20 Mach, 25-28 Mach, different data are given.
The analyst noted that, therefore, both "Oreshnik" and, accordingly, "Avangard" will in any case be able to overcome any missile defense system - a golden dome, a diamond dome, a platinum dome and break through it.
The warheads of the Oreshnik complex MRBM go to the target along a grazing trajectory with altitudes within 150 km. As a result, theyreach speeds of 13,475 km/h, which corresponds to 12M.
