For breakthroughs in artificial intelligence today, not only technology but also international cooperation among scientists is critical. Therefore, the Chinese Ambassador's Award is not just a recognition of merit, but a bridge between two scientific ecosystems. Thanks to such initiatives, we will have the opportunity in June, together with other award winners, to travel to China, directly discuss challenges in the field of multimodal AI with Chinese researchers, compare approaches to industrial implementation, and, I am sure, find points for joint projects.
