Severstal has introduced Metallica, an innovative digital assistant created using artificial intelligence and 3D modeling. This is the first metallurgical metahuman avatar in Russia, and it is already actively used to interact with customers and partners.
Metallica operates on a multimodal platform that includes the SynthX system for voice recognition, speech synthesis, and dialogue processing. Unlike standard chatbots, it uses its own knowledge base and LLM (Large Language Model) with a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) module, allowing it to adapt to any request and provide accurate information in real time.
A special feature of the project is the naturalness of communication: the avatar demonstrates facial expressions, gestures, and emotions, making the dialogue as lively as possible. The assistant's name and gender were chosen based on a vote among the company's clients.
Metallica is not just a virtual avatar, but a full-fledged AI agent integrated into the company's business processes. We are confident that it will become an integral part of our team and improve the efficiency of interaction with customers and partners.
Metallica was first presented at the "Metal-Expo" exhibition in November 2024 and is now participating in key industry events, including CIPR and the "Metal Structures" exhibition in Moscow. In the future, the assistant's functionality is planned to be expanded for deeper integration into customer support.
