Most often, the mailings report about logging into the "Gosuslugi" personal account from other devices

Alla Khrapunova, an expert at the "People's Front. Analytics" direction, spoke about the increase in the number of fraudulent attacks. Attackers send SMS and emails, reporting suspicious activity in the personal account on the "Gosuslugi" portal.

We are now seeing a surge in attacks by fraudsters in the form of SMS or emails. They report either about logging into the "Gosuslugi" personal account from other devices, or about suspicious activity in the personal account, or about uploading, downloading documents.

According to the expert, in their letters, fraudsters convince Russians to immediately contact the portal's support service at a specially indicated number.

When receiving such messages and letters, do not respond to them, Khrapunova noted. Pay attention to the sender's name and email address. If you have any questions, contact the support service through official channels.

In 2024, the number of crimes related to illegal access to computer information almost tripled compared to the previous year. If in 2023 there were 36 thousand, then in 2024 there were more than 104 thousand.
