Footage of the flight of the second prototype of the LMS-901 Baikal aircraft developed by the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) JSC has appeared online. The head of Rosaviatsiya, Dmitry Yadrov, visited the enterprise the day before.
The head of the department was shown the new UZGA workshop, the first fuselage of the TVRS-44 Ladoga aircraft, and test flights of the LMS-901 Baikal and the UTS-800 training aircraft.
Yadrov also inspected the aircraft assembly shops, paint shops, a multifunctional production complex with an area for assembling the TVRS-44 Ladoga aircraft. The head of the department was also shown a workshop for assembling high-thrust engines and a motor test station.
In addition, from the escort aircraft, he watched demonstration flights of the second prototype of the Baikal aircraft and the first flight prototype of the new Russian UTS-800 training aircraft.
The cost of the Russian light multipurpose aircraft LMS-901 "Baikal" will be from 220 million to 340 million rubles, said Leonid Luzgin, General Director of UZGA. Deliveries will begin in 2026.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the assembly of the fuselage sections of the MS-21 aircraft was completed in Irkutsk.
