Двигатель ПД-8 «отказал» в полёте на SJ-100 «Суперджете»: тест пройден

Pilots Successfully Tested New Automatic Control System

The new Russian SJ-100 "Superjet" airliner underwent testing of the automatic control system (ACS). This was reported by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec).

Certification tests of the automatic control system have begun in Zhukovsky on the SJ-100 aircraft with domestic systems.

The Russian ACS is a joint development by specialists from the KRET concern, which is part of Rostec, and the "Yakovlev" company. In the first two flights, the crew evaluated the basic autopilot modes — vertical speed of climb and descent, reaching a specified flight level, horizontal flight, climb and descent path angle, turn to a specified course, as well as their combinations, including simulating the failure of one engine.

In all tested modes, their combinations, and transitions from one mode to another, the ACS was rated positively.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the assembly of the MS-21 aircraft fuselage sections was completed in Irkutsk.
