Центр развития технологий для космических систем создали в России на базе МФТИ

More Than 1 Billion Rubles Allocated for Its Creation

The NTI Fund has created a new Center of Competence in the field of "Advanced Technologies for Space Systems and Services," which will develop methods for swarm control of drones from space, small spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth, and their components. More than 1 billion rubles have been allocated for the creation of the center.

The center will operate at MIPT with the participation of a consortium of universities and will begin implementing the program in 2025. Among the tasks are the integration of space systems with 5GA networks, the development of cameras, radars, engines, and the training of personnel in 9 specialized programs. The work is being carried out in collaboration with Roscosmos and private companies in the industry.

NTI Competence Centers have been created since 2017 to develop end-to-end technologies. Their activities generate income from licenses, which has already exceeded 30 billion rubles. The centers have implemented more than 450 projects and trained over 68,000 specialists. Among the developments are a hydrogen drone, a robot cartographer, and a domestic 5G station.

In total, there are 19 centers of competence of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) operating in Russia.
