The premiere of a new prototype crossover from AvtoVAZ will take place at SPIEF on June 18 — the Togliatti automaker will present the development to the general public for the first time.
Mass production of the model will start in the first half of 2026. At the forum, the name of the model will be revealed, and the exterior and interior of the car will be shown.
This will be the first crossover of the brand after the launch of the Niva. In January, the car with the working title B+ Cross was shown to Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to the plant in Togliatti.
The car was developed on the basis of the Lada Vesta platform. When it enters the market, it will receive another commercial name under which it will be officially sold.
AvtoVAZ also announced the launch of a brand of commercial vehicles on the Russian market, which was announced in January of this year. The company stated that the cars will occupy an intermediate niche between Gazelle and Lada Largus.
