The Lada Niva Sport, refined by the "Lada Sport" division immediately after its release, has encountered a new defect.
On one of the SUVs with a mileage of about 2,500 km, the rear hub bearing seal failed, causing oil to get onto the brake disc and leading to problems with stopping the car.
The problems with the new Niva Sport are not limited to brakes alone. Previously, AvtoVAZ launched a recall campaign due to weak steering rods that could not withstand increased loads. Owners were offered a free replacement with reinforced components.
