The Russian tank support fighting vehicle (BMPT) "Terminator" has shown high efficiency and reliability in real combat operations. There are simply no foreign analogues to this equipment, said Alexander Potapov, head of the Uralvagonzavod concern (UVZ, part of Rostec).
According to him, many countries have already expressed a need for this machine. Answering the question of whether there are foreign analogues to the Russian BMPT, the head of the concern emphasized that no one else has the function performed by the "Terminator".
This machine is the only one in the world today.
The BMPT "Terminator" is a highly protected combat vehicle based on the T-90 tank. The main armament is four supersonic guided missiles "Ataka-T" on launchers and two thirty-millimeter automatic cannons 2A42.
The complex also includes two 30-mm automatic grenade launchers in armored compartments on over-track shelves and a machine gun paired with automatic cannons.
In addition, the "Terminator" is equipped with a highly automated fire control system that ensures effective detection and destruction of targets at any time of the day. All-round protection provides the necessary level of protection on the battlefield, and a highly effective weapons system and significant ammunition load provide the ability to engage a large number of targets.

«Uralvagonzavod» announced a public vote to choose a new name for the BMPT "Terminator". The results will be summed up at the "Army-2025" forum in Kubinka from August 11 to 14.
