Каким будет новый ПАК ДА на замену Ту-95 и Ту-160: есть серьезная загвоздка

The "Flying Wing" Aircraft Will Be Able to Carry 30 Tons of Weapons, but There Is No Production Date

The Russian Prospective Aviation Complex for Long-Range Aviation (PAK DA) may have frightening capabilities that could change the game, but there is a snag in the start date of production.

PAK DA should replace the Russian strategic bombers Tu-95 and Tu-160. The new generation aircraft, made according to the "flying wing" aerodynamic design, will be able to carry 30 tons of weapons, including nuclear ones, and overcome more than 12 thousand kilometers.

All weapons will be placed in internal compartments, which will further reduce visibility in flight. It is assumed that the missile carrier will be armed with long-range cruise missiles, hypersonic systems, including "Kinzhal", Kh-101, Kh-102 missiles with a nuclear warhead, as well as the latest Kh-BDs, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 6500 km.

However, the creation of PAK DA faces serious technological obstacles and delays. The prototype was originally planned to be released in 2023, and its serial production was to be launched in 2027.

However, now the first flight is unlikely before the end of 2025, and operation may begin only in the 2030s, if it begins at all.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Iskander-M missiles began to bypass the Patriot air defense system without problems thanks to radar traps.
