New Machining Milling Center Presented by Kalashnikov Concern at Metalloobrabotka-2025 Exhibition

Russian Concern Showcased High-Precision CNC Machine for Complex Industrial Tasks for the First Time

At the international exhibition "Metalloobrabotka-2025", which takes place in Moscow from May 26 to 29, the Kalashnikov Concern presented a new development — the IZH VMC650CNC vertical milling machining center. This equipment with numerical control (CNC) is designed for serial and large-scale production of highly complex parts.

The machine has been developed since 2022 in the design bureau of the machine tool division of the concern. IZH VMC650CNC is capable of milling curved surfaces, drilling, countersinking, boring, and threading. It is designed for use in the aerospace, automotive, medical, and machine-building industries, and is already used in Kalashnikov's own production facilities.

The machine is equipped with an automatic lubrication and cooling system and a protective cover, which increases operator safety. Its design includes a column, spindle box, movable table, and other components that ensure high precision and performance.

As part of the exhibition, Kalashnikov is negotiating with potential customers, forming a portfolio of contracts for 2026.
