Sales of the new "Moskvich 8" crossover will not begin until July. It was planned that the cars would appear in showrooms as early as May 26, but this did not happen. The "Moskvich" company itself could not specify the exact timing of the start of sales.
The crossover will be presented in three trim levels — "Business", "Techno" and "Premium". In the "Techno" version, buyers will receive ambient interior lighting, ventilated front seats, an electric tailgate and keyless entry. There is also a panoramic roof, a 360°C view system and electric heated mirrors.
The "Premium" package additionally includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with a similar screen, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping systems, emergency braking and blind spot monitoring.
The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 174 hp and a 7-speed robotic gearbox. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 8.3 l/100 km, and the dimensions of the crossover are 4825 x 1870 x 1758 mm with a wheelbase of 2830 mm. "Moskvich 8" is designed for 7 seats, offering a spacious interior and a trunk volume of 418 to 2153 liters, depending on the configuration of the seats.
