The launch of production of the new Moskvich 8 crossover has been postponed for the second time. The plant cannot yet name the date of the model's launch.
Moskvich 8 is a family crossover with three rows of seats. The length of the car is 4824 mm, and the wheelbase is 2830 mm.
The flagship crossover will be equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 174 hp, paired with a 7-speed "robot". The model will only have front-wheel drive.
The interior of the Moskvich 8 features two-tone leather trim, ambient lighting, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel combined with a multimedia display. There are also physical "hot" keys, a transmission selector in the form of a puck, wireless charging for smartphones, a surround view camera system, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto protocols.
The crossover was introduced in the spring of last year. Its launch was planned for February 2025. However, February has already arrived, and the release of the new product has been postponed once again.
