The 2GIS team, known for its reference and mapping service, has announced the launch of an adapted version of its Flutter SDK for the Russian "Aurora" operating system. This event marks an important step for developers. Now, all the service's functions, including 3D maps, navigation, route planning, and offline access, are available on smartphones and tablets with the domestic OS.
The new version of Flutter SDK for "Aurora" fully corresponds to the functionality already available on iOS and Android platforms. Developers will be able to create applications with the same capabilities as on other popular operating systems.
The 2GIS solution will be integrated into the hardware and software complexes (HSC) of the "Open Mobile Platform," which will allow the service to be used in industries with high requirements for geopositional accuracy, such as mining, energy, telecommunications, chemical industry, housing and communal services, logistics, and retail.
2GIS technology will also be useful for organizing mobile workplaces, including specialized solutions for logistics and retail, which opens up new opportunities for improving employee efficiency and improving customer service quality.
