Graduates will be able to operate and maintain drones

The Chukotka Multidisciplinary College will begin training professional UAV operators for the first time in September 2025. This was reported by the regional Department of Education and Science.

The duration of training in the specialty "Operation of unmanned aircraft systems" based on basic general education is 3 years and 10 months. Graduates of this program will be able to work in areas such as transport and aircraft construction.

Students will be able to control drones:

  • airplane type
  • helicopter type
  • mixed type

In addition, they will be trained to carry out maintenance of functional equipment, including information transmission and processing systems, other digital systems, as well as cargo fastening systems.
