This is the only standard design of a medical vessel in Russia. After the completion of the tests, "Saint Luke" will proceed on its own to Belomorsk, and then to the place of operation.

The length of the vessel is 65 m, the width is 10.8 m, the weight of the vessel with cargo is 740 tons, the height of the side is 3.2 m, the speed is 21 km/h. There can be 12 crew members and 25 medical workers on board. Up to 50 people can be on the ship at the same time, not counting the crew and medical personnel.

The ship can sail autonomously for 30 days without replenishing food supplies.

In October 2023, the keel-laying ceremony of a medical vessel intended to operate as a floating hospital took place on the territory of the production complex of JSC "Port Kolomna".

In October 2024, the assembly of the hull of the floating clinic was completed. Mooring and sea trials are scheduled for the period from June to August 2025. The transfer of the ship to the customer must take place no later than September 30 of the same year.

It is expected that the floating clinic will set off on its first voyage in May 2026.

Earlier, the first vessel of a new generation, the electric "Strelna", was launched at the Emperia shipyard in the Leningrad region. This event became an important milestone in Russian shipbuilding. The project combines advanced energy-efficient technologies with a retro design inspired by the legendary Soviet ships.
