In the Leningrad region, "Yura Corporation Rus" (the Russian division of the South Korean Yura Corp) has resumed production of components at the plant in Ivangorod. According to Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region for Economics, the company is fully loaded: 182 employees are working as usual, and products are supplied to the AGR Automotive Group automobile plant in St. Petersburg (formerly the Hyundai plant).
The plant in Ivangorod has specialized in the production of automotive wiring since 2008, but suspended operations in March 2022. Now the company has been adapted to the needs of AGR Automotive Group, whose parent company (Art-Finance) acquired the former Hyundai facilities in early 2024.
"Yura" is now working in the interests of AGR Automotive Group (AGR automobile plant). 182 people work in full-time mode. At least the plant is alive and working.
A new stage of development is associated with the launch of the Solaris brand at the former Hyundai plant. Art-Finance has integrated two sites in St. Petersburg (Kamenka and Shushary).
