Pilot production of the all-wheel drive version of the Kaiyi X7 flagship crossover has begun at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, Russia. This was reported by the brand's press service.
The flagship crossover of the Kaiyi X7 brand has been supplemented with an all-wheel drive version specifically for Russia.
The technical characteristics of the new model have not yet been disclosed. However, it is known that the basic versions of the X7 are equipped with 1.6-liter (186 hp) and 2.0-liter (238 hp) turbo engines paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox.
Currently, the plant is focused on refining the technological process, and cars are planned to be assembled in pilot mode for now. Serial production will be launched at the end of summer 2025.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Kaiyi brand had canceled discounts on 2025 cars.
