Russian "Geran-2" drone sets absolute flight altitude record: no SAM system can reach it

The drone was flying at an altitude of 4900 m

One of the Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones set an absolute flight altitude record of 4900 m on the morning of May 25. This was stated by military expert Alexander Kovalenko.

According to him, these drones have recently been attacking from ever greater heights, which makes it almost impossible to destroy them by the forces of mobile fire groups.

Earlier it became known that the Geraniums had upgraded engines, now the drone flies at a speed of more than 200 km/h. The drone's airframe has been improved, now the Geraniums dive from a height of 2 km at a speed of 400 km/h, overcoming object air defense systems.

In addition, the Geraniums have improved the anti-spoofing algorithm and increased the power of the warhead from 50 to 90 kg.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Soyuz-2.1b rocket with a classified vehicle was launched in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
