Ministry of Transport and Rosaviatsiya Support Launch of Unified Experimental Legal Regime for Drones

The first such regime was introduced in the Kamchatka Territory, Khanty-Mansiysk, Chukotka, and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs in 2022

The Ministry of Transport advocates for the introduction of a unified federal experimental legal regime in the field of unmanned aircraft systems, according to Andrey Ivanov, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in Civil Aviation.

I would like to support the initiative of the "Aeronext" association to consider the possibility of a serial experimental legal regime across the country with the possibility of subjects joining. This does not exclude individual experimental legal regimes in individual subjects.
Andrey Ivanov

Andrey Dobryakov, Deputy Head of Rosaviatsiya, also noted that he supports the initiative of so-called serial experimental legal regimes, where the requirements and rules for operating unmanned aircraft systems will be uniform.

Currently, there are 10 experimental legal regimes in the field of unmanned aircraft systems in 24 regions of the country. The first such regime was launched in March 2022 in the Kamchatka Territory, Khanty-Mansiysk, Chukotka, and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs.

Gleb Babintsev, General Director of the association, previously reported that "Aeronext" is developing parameters for a unified "unmanned" experimental legal regime. This regime involves creating a common set of temporary rules.

Earlier, "Gorny-TsOT" launched mass production of brushless motors for drones. The new production will produce 1000 engines monthly. More than 100 million rubles have been invested in the project.
