Lawsuit for Billions of Rubles Filed Against Builder of Project 21980 "Grachonok" Anti-Sabotage Boats

Russian Ministry of Defense Demands Recovery of Over 2.6 Billion Rubles from Vympel Shipyard

The Arbitration Court of Moscow has received a lawsuit from the Russian Ministry of Defense demanding the recovery of 2.69 billion rubles from PJSC "Vympel Shipyard." Other details about the claims against the enterprise are not specified.

The Arbitration Court of Moscow will decide on the acceptance of the claim for production.

The shipyard's production facilities are located in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Region. The enterprise specializes in the production of missile and patrol boats, high-speed search and rescue and other vessels.

The shipbuilders of "Vympel" worked on the creation of boats of Project 21980 "Grachonok." The series of vessels is designed to combat sabotage and terrorist forces, and to assist the Border Service of the FSB of Russia in protecting the state border.
