AvtoVAZ introduced the Lada Granta Active Cross. This is a liftback raised above the ground. Cars are already being shipped, but according to insiders of the Avtograd public page, dealers are in no hurry to order this version.
Granta cross liftbacks are available for shipment, but dealers do not order them, the price is insane, and we cannot even understand the meaning of this configuration.
The model is equipped with a modernized chassis. The distance from the ground to the bottom of the car was increased from 180 mm, as in a regular liftback, to 198 mm.
AvtoVAZ specialists also noted that the body of the new model has improved geometry with shorter overhangs and a smooth bottom without protruding parts. This should provide characteristics comparable to compact crossovers.
Lada Granta Active Cross will receive 1.6-liter engines with a capacity of 90 and 106 horsepower. The transmission is a five-speed manual.
