AvtoVAZ has decided not to move the assembly of the Lada Granta model from the SKP (assembly and body production) "Kalina" complex to the main assembly line.

Previously, there was information about a possible relocation of Granta production to free up space for the new Lada Iskra model. However, the company decided to maintain the current production scheme.

Lada Granta remains one of the key models of AvtoVAZ, and its assembly at SKP "Kalina" has been established since 2011. This production complex was originally created for the production of cars on the Kalina platform, which includes Granta, confirming the feasibility of maintaining the current production process.

AvtoVAZ continues to develop the Lada Granta family. Previously, the manufacturer presented a new version — Granta Life. The model is available as a sedan and a liftback.
