The combat vehicle stalled, but the military managed to close the battery contacts and remove the tank from the danger zone

The crew of the main Russian T-72 tank managed to remove the combat vehicle from the shelling zone thanks to an ordinary spoon. This was reported by the tank commander with the call sign Chapai.

According to him, the tank was operating in self-propelled gun mode, from a closed firing position, fired 18 shells and received an order to roll back. However, after a shell exploded nearby, the T-72 engine stalled and did not want to start again.

The commander arrived with the most experienced mechanic-driver. He brought an ordinary metal spoon and explained to his colleague from the immobilized vehicle - close the contacts of the batteries with a spoon, and everything will work out.

Then everything happened as it was said. The mechanic directly closed the contacts with a spoon, the engine started, and the combat vehicle drove to a safe place.

At the moment, the latest modification of the T-72 family of tanks is the T-72B3M. This combat vehicle has improved characteristics, is equipped with the latest auxiliary equipment and more powerful weapons, the basis of which is a 125 mm caliber gun with improved ballistics and service life.
