T-90M "Proryv" is the true pinnacle of the evolution of the main battle tank of the Russian Armed Forces. The design incorporates all the most modern technical solutions: a 125-mm smoothbore gun with the ability to fire Refleks-M ATGMs, a powerful V-92S2F diesel engine (1130 hp), Relikt dynamic armor, an external ammunition rack for part of the ammunition, and the latest equipment.
The tank is equipped with a Kevlar inner lining, protecting the crew from fragments in the event of being hit by a projectile.
The anti-aircraft machine gun on the roof of the turret is remotely controlled. The tank can be equipped with an active protection system of the Arena-M type. The design of additional protection takes into account the experience of real combat operations as much as possible. It was the study of equipment damage during the battles of recent years that made it possible to change the tank's protection and protect the hull from drones and ATGMs.
With each new series, improvements are made to the protection design of the T-90M. This can be done more efficiently and qualitatively in the factory than in workshops in the front-line zone.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian military turned gyroscooters into kamikaze drones with a bomb.
