Footage of the engine of the newest Russian air-launched cruise missile "Banderol" has been published online. The photos were shown by the Telegram channel "Voevoda speaks".
The authors of the channel noted that there is an option to use "Banderol" on two different engines.
The missile is used with the "Orion" drone, and in the future it is also planned to be used with Mi-28N combat helicopters.
"Banderol" has a fuselage about 5 m long, made with stealth elements. The wingspan of the retractable wing is 2.2 m. The fuel reserve is 50-65 kg, which provides a flight range of up to 500 km. The cruising speed of the missile is 520-560 km/h, the maximum speed is 620-650 km/h. The missile is equipped with a 115-kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead OFBCh-150, the mass of the explosive is 49.5 kg. The missile's guidance system is satellite-based, based on the 8-channel GLONASS/GPS signal receiver "Kometa-M8".
