According to the Moscow Department of Transport, in March 2025, the number of carsharing trips in Moscow increased by half a million compared to the same period last year - a total of 4.7 million trips were made. The growing interest in short-term car rentals is likely due to improved weather conditions and a steady demand for convenient and flexible ways to get around the city.
The most popular starting points were Khodynskoe Pole (13.5 thousand rentals), Belorussky railway station (10 thousand), Tsvetnoy Boulevard (9.8 thousand), Yamskoe Pole (8.1 thousand) and the Depo food mall (7.9 thousand). These areas typically combine transport accessibility, residential density and business activity, making them convenient starting points.
The end points of trips almost coincide with the starting points. Khodynskoe Pole is again in the lead - carsharing cars ended their routes here 13.9 thousand times. It is followed by Belorussky railway station (9.9 thousand), Tsvetnoy Boulevard (9.4 thousand), Tverskaya Street (8 thousand) and Yamskoe Pole (7.9 thousand). This distribution suggests that carsharing users mainly move within the central part of the city and nearby business districts.
