On the 80th Victory Day, Soviet announcer Yuri Levitan "spoke" in English and Spanish, and also voiced the latest news in Russian — all this became possible thanks to AI technologies.
The image of the legendary announcer was recreated by the Russian company Cognitive Pilot, adapting its "Ippolit" neural network for this purpose. The voice was generated using a voice model from "Nanosemantics". The result is a realistic visualization of Levitan with his characteristic manner of speaking.
Viewers could not only hear, but also "see" the virtual announcer reading both the historical Victory speech and modern news.
