Today, May 9, 2025, Russia celebrates the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The main event of the celebration is traditionally the Victory Day Parade on Red Square in Moscow.
The event traditionally starts at 10:00 Moscow time. The parade will last about two hours.
This year, more than 10,000 military personnel, hundreds of pieces of military equipment, and aviation are participating in the parade. The solemn procession opens with the carrying out of the Victory Banner — the very flag that was raised over the Reichstag in May 1945.
For those who cannot attend in person, an online broadcast of the Victory Parade has been organized. You can watch it at the following link: watch the Victory Parade online.
In addition, a live broadcast is being conducted on the Telegram channel "Kremlin. News".
The broadcast is available in high quality and with commentary from leading military observers. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of a historical event — wherever you are.
Happy Victory Day!
