The Barnaul Plant of Heavy Wheel Disks, part of the Barnaul Plant of Mechanical Presses (BZM) group, has launched the production of a new size of wheel disks - 25×38. These disks are designed for the latest generation of 3000 series tractors from Rostselmash. A batch of prototypes has successfully passed testing and has been shipped to the customer.
The plant is the only one in Russia that carries out a full cycle of production of wheel disks for agricultural and special equipment. The manufactured products can reach a diameter of 54 inches and a weight of up to 200 kg. The products are in demand by the largest manufacturers and dealers of agricultural machinery, such as the "Petersburg Tractor Plant", "Rostselmash" and "Gomselmash."
The project to launch the plant has been implemented since 2017 and required investments of about 1 billion rubles, including funds from the Altai Territory Development Fund and the company's own funds. The plant is equipped with modern equipment, including automated cataphoresis and painting lines, which allows producing up to 80 thousand wheel disks per year, covering 95% of the Russian market needs.
The development of the new size 25×38 confirms the ability of the Barnaul Plant of Mechanical Presses to adapt to the requirements of modern agricultural machinery manufacturers and strengthens its position in the market.
