Rostselmash presented a new model of the RSM 2405 tractor at the Kazan Agro 2025 exhibition. It is equipped with a domestic KAMAZ engine.
The P6 engine with a nominal power of 405 hp (maximum - 433 hp) is adapted for use in Rostselmash 2405 tractors to achieve maximum performance, low fuel consumption and low noise levels. This is a 6-cylinder in-line engine with a turbocharger with a volume of 12 liters.
One of the key features of the engine is a two-stage filter with a manual priming function, which includes a filter-separator (for coarse cleaning) and a fine filter with fuel heating. This makes it easier to start the engine in cold weather.
The tractor is also equipped with a comfortable cabin with a comfortable operator's seat, a color touch monitor and climate control. Axles with differential lock provide excellent cross-country ability, and fuel tanks with a total capacity of 927 liters contribute to even weight distribution on the front and rear axles.
The tractor is equipped with a 12F+4R mechanical transmission with three speed ranges. This allows you to smoothly switch between four synchronized speeds in each range.
The closed-center hydraulic system provides a maximum hydraulic flow of up to 260 l/min. The rear linkage is designed for coupling with IVN and III category implements, with a lifting capacity of up to 5,897 kg at a distance of 610 mm from the axis of the lower link suspension.
