Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) has announced the modernization of its production facilities. Since May 1, 2025, the welding of bodies of the Hunter model has begun to be carried out on a new specialized area. The decision of the Ulyanovsk residents is aimed at optimizing the production process.
In addition, the repair and foundry shop is planning to update the warehouse. Measures will help improve logistics and storage conditions for components, which, in turn, should increase the overall efficiency of the plant.
Insiders believe that the increase in the price of the plant's products is associated with the improvement of production lines. It was from May 1 that the cost of the Patriot, Hunter, Bukhanka and Profi models increased by 45-55 thousand Rubles.
Thus, UAZ strives not only to improve the quality of its products, but also to adapt to new economic conditions. Modernization of production and price increases are important steps for the plant, which continues to develop in the Russian automotive market.
