Not Shown at the Parade: War Correspondents Release Footage of a Russian Tank Protected by Fishing Nets

The turret of the combat vehicle is covered with grates

Footage of combat tanks of the 98th Guards Airborne Division of the Airborne Forces has appeared online. The armored vehicles are mainly equipped with grates and fishing nets.

The photographs show that a special lattice canopy with a fine mesh has been built over the tank turret. According to the idea, this protection will delay the kamikaze drone and prevent it from attacking directly into the armor, ensuring adequate protection for the soldiers.

The rear of the tanks is also densely covered with various fittings and metal chains. It is noteworthy that the specialists took care of the safety of the tracks and also tried to hide them from UAVs with hanging chains.

However, the main surprise is the stretched fishing chain in the upper part of the tank turret. The material was installed in front of the metal frame, and it is it that will take the first hit from the drones.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a Russian Aerospace Forces fighter intercepted a US B-1B Lancer strategic bomber.
