Official sales of the Lada Niva car have begun in the United Arab Emirates. According to the AvtoPotok correspondent in Dubai, the three-door version of the classic SUV is estimated at 64,000 dirhams, which is equivalent to approximately 1.5 million rubles.
Today, the only direct competitor of the Lada Niva in the UAE automotive market is the Japanese Suzuki Jimny, but its price exceeds the cost of the Russian model by 20%. This makes the Niva a more affordable alternative in the compact SUV segment.
Recently, an official Lada car dealership started operating in Dubai. The showroom features current models of the brand, including the new Iskra and the sports version of the Niva Sport. Despite this, all demonstration cars are still marked as "not for sale", and the main emphasis is on promoting the Niva model.
