The diesel-electric submarine "Krasnodar" of project 636.3, code "Varshavyanka," of the Pacific Fleet has left the Mediterranean Sea.

The submarine passed through the Strait of Gibraltar, and footage appeared in social networks.

The Project 636.3 diesel-electric submarines are designed to destroy surface ships and vessels, enemy submarines, patrol, guard, reconnaissance, and protect communications in the near sea zone.

The submarines have a length of 74 m, and a maximum displacement of more than 3.9 thousand tons. The strong hull provides the submarine with a working depth of 240 m and a maximum depth of 300 m, a range of up to 7.5 thousand miles. The main armament of the submarines is the Kalibr-PL missile system.
