The Kalashnikov concern presented the newest small-class KUB-2-E strike complex at the Innovation Day of the Airborne Forces exhibition. The drone is designed to engage enemy manpower and unarmored military equipment.
The medium-class KUB-2-E has a wider range of applications: it is designed to strike enemy personnel, launch positions of UAV systems, helicopter basing areas, as well as unarmored and lightly armored military equipment.
KUB-2-E drones are maneuverable and equipped with optoelectronic systems, allowing operators to guide munitions to targets even when the latter change their location.
The mass of the loitering munition is more than 10 kg. Drones can be used during the day and night, in simple and complex weather conditions, in smoky and dusty atmospheres, with wind speeds near the ground up to 15 m/s, passive and active interference occurring on the battlefield; in the ambient temperature range (near the earth's surface) from -40 to +50 °C.
