AvtoVAZ has once again reduced the range of Lada Vesta vehicles produced. At the beginning of May, it removed 4 specifications in cross-versions from production.
Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagons are now assembled in one version, and Lada Vesta Cross sedans — in two. The manufacturer left only expensive models with a 1.8 engine and Chinese gearboxes in production.
Lada Vesta Cross is available in Enjoy'24 (6-speed manual) and Techno'24 (CVT) configurations. Lada Vesta SW Cross remained in one specification — with a 6-speed "mechanics" in the Enjoy'24 version.
The trend towards reducing car production at AvtoVAZ began at the end of last year. Then the head of the Volga Automobile Plant explained that it is impractical to produce cars for the warehouse, and the market is degrading.
