In addition to mesh "barbecue grills," Russian tank units have begun using a "dome" to protect the T-72B3M turret, made of fiberglass rebar for flexibility, so that the drone does not detonate but gets entangled in the nets or bounces off them.
Immediately under the "dome" is a strong frame called a "barbecue grill," which also has dynamic protection and various types of radio-electronic suppression devices installed.
This protection allows the tank to withstand multiple hits from FPV drones and maintains the ability to rotate the tank's turret in a full circle.
For covert positioning at intermediate stopping points and during movement, the tank's hull is covered with an additional camouflage kit that reduces the vehicle's visibility in the infrared spectrum. It is IR cameras that are often used by night drones to search for targets.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Caliber" and "Onyx" carriers, the frigates "Admiral Gorshkov" and "Admiral Kasatonov," have entered the Barents Sea.
