Russian corvettes of project 20380 "Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and "Rezky", as well as the support vessel "Pechenga", arrived in the port of Sihanoukville in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
On the eve, the crews of the Pacific Fleet ships conducted a joint PASSEX-type naval exercise with the Royal Thai Navy in the Gulf of Thailand after leaving the port of Sattahip.
In the designated area, the crews conducted communication and joint tactical maneuvering exercises. After completing the tasks of the joint exercise, the crews of the two friendly countries held a farewell ceremony.
The Royal Thai Navy involved the frigate "Naresuan", as well as one of the naval aviation helicopters, in the exercise.
The armament of the 20380 series corvettes includes launchers for anti-ship missiles "Uran" or "Caliber-NK" (depending on the modification of the ship), artillery installations, an anti-aircraft missile system, grenade launchers, machine gun installations. They have anti-submarine and anti-torpedo protection.
Earlier www1.ru reported that carriers of "Caliber" and "Onyx" frigates "Admiral Gorshkov" and "Admiral Kasatonov" entered the Barents Sea.
