Passengers of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) are increasingly choosing to pay for travel by bank card — in the first quarter of 2025, this method was used more than 5.7 million times, which is 30% higher than last year's figures.
The new payment system is rapidly gaining popularity among passengers. To use the service, simply bring your bank card to the turnstile or validator when entering and exiting the station.
The system operates in the Moscow Metro in all directions of the Central Suburban Passenger Company (CSPC) and the Moscow (MTPPK).
This method of payment allows for free transfers. Within 90 minutes, and on some routes 120 minutes, you can transfer to the metro or the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) for free.
The growing popularity of cashless payments indicates that passengers appreciate the convenience and speed of modern technologies in the capital's transport system.
