The Russian corvette "Soobrazitelny" of project 20380 on Friday, April 25, entered the Mediterranean Sea after passing through the Strait of Gibraltar. The footage appeared on social networks.
Project 20380 corvettes are designed to destroy enemy submarines and surface ships, solve various tasks in the near sea zone, and ensure the landing of troops.
The basic armament of corvettes includes — the "Caliber" or "Yakhont" strike anti-ship complex, a 100 mm A-190 artillery gun, two "Kashtan-M" anti-aircraft missile and gun systems for missile defense, as well as a Ka-27 type deck helicopter.
